If you see the following error message in your connection log:

Tue Dec 03 17:03:36 2013 NOTE: FlushIpNetTable failed on interface [20] {FBF5CFFA-71FF-44A8-9F80-4B155F075D05} (status=1168) : Element not found.

you need to set routing and remote access services. To do so:

Click StartRun, type:
services.msc

and then click OK. run-services

The Services list will appear. In the list, find Routing and Remote Access.

Check that the current operation for Routing and Remote Access is stopped. You can stop it by selecting the item and clicking the Stop icon in the top menu bar on the screen.stop-service

Double-click Routing and Remote Access. In the “Routing and Remote Access Properties” menu, set the “Startup Type” to Manual and click OK  to save your changes. choose-manual

Start ExpressVPN and connect to a server location.connect

Note: If you are still encountering issues, change your VPN protocol and connect again.
